Biography

Chen Qi, PhD in Plastic Surgery from Peking Union Medical College, devoted himself to frontier research in plastic surgery-related fields during his doctoral studies and, after graduation, worked at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He completed standardized residency training in surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital and standardized specialist training in plastic surgery at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He has been engaged in clinical plastic and aesthetic surgery for nearly ten years and specializes in postpartum body contouring and restoration, periorbital rejuvenation aesthetic surgery, minimally invasive excision and plastic reconstruction of head and facial masses and scars, and post-traumatic head and facial repair and reconstruction. His research focus is the etiology of congenital microtia. He has participated in and completed two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and currently leads one institute/hospital-level fund project. He has published 4 SCI original articles as first author and has attended numerous domestic and international academic conferences.
